BackSpace is a student-run gallery operated by the Sydney College of the Arts Student Society located at University of Sydney. As the first official gallery SCASS is running at the University, we aim to provide a space for all students to freely explore their practice, encouraging all types of works and artists of different backgrounds a chance to showcase their works.

The Sydney College of the Arts Society is proud to present the opening exhibition of its first official gallery space, BackSpace. This inaugural salon showcases the talents of undergrad, postgrad and alumni students at Sydney College of the Arts working in painting, sculpture, printmaking, glass and screen arts.
